Boo Day 2010

Boo Day 2010 was SPOOKtacular! It is quickly becoming a Halloween tradition to host a "Boo Day" celebration each year. Guests are required to come in costume, a nightmarish meal is prepared and we party 'til the werewolves howl at the moon....

Fly on in to "The Black Cauldron Cafe" - where "We brew for YOU!" is our slogan.

The festive feast: Intestines with blood, grusome greens (Watch out for the worms!), bones, spider cider, candy corn fudge, pumpkin seeds and Boo Day cake. Yum. Yum.

Fall is Here!

Yep. Fall is here. The leaves are changing color. Nanette and I hiked up Millcreek Canyon then celebrated Nan's birthday by going to Zupas for soup. We played a word game on Nan's super nifty Kindle (advancing all the way to level 10) then looked through Nan's old Snow College memory book and laughed our heads off. Oh to be 19 again...

Jake and I carved pumpkins. In Eagle Mountain, a family raised a pumpkin patch and is donating all proceeds to the Perpetual Education Fund. Good excuse to buy a pumpkin, right? Now...if they just wouldn't shrivel up and grow mold in the end! Ha!
