And this was Gavin's favorite place - the Lodging House.  (Comparable to a grand hotel these days.)  He asked to go back to it a second time and he jumped right in the bed and so did Laynie!  I couldn't get them out!!!  After a lot of coaxing and literally prying Laynie from the pillow, I figured it was time to go home and let Laynie take a nap in her own bed!!

Blue Cardigan Design

A few years back, Matt started a company called Blue Cardigan Design.  He does internet site design/maintenance for small companies and most recently, he's been creating digital paper.  He put together a "Great to be 8" baptism party kit and needed some pictures to include on the sale site.  So I got to do what I love: put together a party table!!  I'm super proud of Matt for doing this in his spare time.

Donut Falls

In the first week of June, my friend Chelsea and I took a little trip up Big Cottonwood Canyon and hiked to Donut Falls with our kiddos.  It was a very simple hike with an awesome view at the end.

It's called Donut Falls because over the years, the water going over the edge pounded a hole in a massive rock where it now flows through.

Memorial Day

On Memorial Day, we made a day trip down to Gunnison for a little family get together.  We played a rousing game of kickball at the park then went to Tyler and Amber's house for a BBQ.  In the late evening, I took some pictures of family so I could get better at using my camera...  Not sure if I got better, but I had fun!
