This year for Thanksgiving, mom and dad traveled to Canada. Grandma Cahoon hasn't been feeling very well and was in the hospital for almost 2 weeks. Our prayers are with Grandma right now.
My brothers and I gathered at home and attended the Sorensen Family Feast. We had it at the Fayette church house. Among our many festivities, we played 2 (out of control) games of Cranium (Have you ever seen Brian act out "Dances with Wolves?" It's a must see.), the boys went up the mountains to cut down their Christmas trees, and we worked on the ceiling of our basement's family room. Hopefully we can finish it by Christmas. I left the house sparkling clean for mom and dad when they returned. It takes a lot of work to keep a farm house clean...
I'm so thankful for my family, for the gospel that seals us together, and for my Savior and friend, Jesus Christ. I love this time of year!
