 I must give this monkey kisses ALL THE TIME.  He's been mimicking my kisses and even making the "mmmmwah" sound at the end like I do.

Here's another thing he loves to mimic...  Pretty SILLY!

I guess after many days of playing with him when he's lying down, he thinks he can do it to us.  Whenever Matt or I lay down, he gets all excited, hobbles over to us, stands up then falls down onto us over and over and over again.

Mimicking ain't all that easy.  All tuckered out.  :)

Let Your Dreams Set Sail, Baby Boy...

Just finished my latest quilting project - a baby quilt for Gavin.  It took me 11 months to complete.  (This is a great accomplishment, considering most of my quilts don't reach the "done" stage.)

I designed this quilt myself - didn't use a pattern - and quilted it by hand.  I wanted it to be a "Cindy Original" for my baby boy.  :)  Would probably do a few things differently now that I know what it looks like all done up, but at least it done, right?

Happy Birthday to Me!

Well folks, I did it!  I turned 33!  So we had to celebrate:

 Went to Won Won Wok.  (Yummy sushi in a bento box!)

Gavin's fortune inside his cookie said, "Be aware to not choke on wrapper."  (Too bad he choked on the wrapper before he got that message.)  :)

Gavvy and Matt gave me the movie UP, some razor blades for my Venus, some silicone to patch up a few cracks around the windows that have been letting in the cold, and a coupon for a weekend of not having to do nightly feedings.  Matt's parents also gave me the movie, Finding Nemo and made me an Oreo cake.  My parents gave me a little kitchen decoration.  

Then on Saturday, Nanette took me out on the town.  We ate lunch then got scalp treatments.  Some much needed R and R.  It was a pretty good birthday.

9 Months and Into EVERYTHING!!!

Gavin has been discovering the cupboards, the pantry, the toilet (gross, I know), etc. He leaves a trail of destruction wherever he goes.  And for some reason, I don't even mind.

Statistics:  Weight = 23 lbs (83%), Height = 29 inches (75%), Head Circumference = 18 inches (63%)

Side Note:  Had to take Gavin to the doctor yesterday.  He just wasn't getting over the vomiting/diarrhea.  Doctor thinks he has a viral infection in the intestines.  Poor baby.

Super Baby!!!

Gavin is just getting over 6 days of having the flu.  

(So not fun.)

Now he's happy again.

(And so am I.)
