Summer loving' had me a blast!

Summer lovin' happened so fast.  July came and went.  Here's pictures to prove it.

Went to my cousin Shirece's bridal shower.  So happy for her!

Caught Laynie being ever-so cute.

Submitted a Cheeto into the Cheeto Museum.  What do you think?  I'm really hoping this Japancheese Geisha will win me the $10,000.  Wink, wink.

Found out they do "free lunch" a few miles from our home.  I have fond memories of going to the park in Gunnison for it.  In this picture, I took my kids and 4 neighborhood kids there, and they loved it.

For Pioneer Day, our primary presidency (+ Jay) dressed up as pioneers.  We had the kids go to different stops along the Mormon trail (Nauvoo, Winter Quarters, Martin's Cove, and Salt Lake City). At each location, they listened to a pioneer story that happened in that area and did an activity - sang songs, made a button yo-yo, played pioneer games, and made butter.

I really love working with these ladies!  Each is amazing in her own way.  I'm so glad Heavenly Father has given us kind neighbors and friends (these ladies included) to inspire, help and love my family as we go through this mortal journey.  I'm sure the pioneer journey was similar - nobody could have made it alone.  They needed each other's talents, inspiration, help and love.
