Happy St. Pat's to Ye!

The night before St. Patrick's Day, I put together a little treasure hunt for the kids.

Starting out with clue #1.

Gavin LOVES treasure hunts.  He loves to hide things (i.e. play dough hearts) around the house and have me find them.  So he was super into this little hunt.

Who'd have thought the rainbow's end was in our oven?!

We went to a park and played.

Then for our Irish dinner, we wore green mustaches - even if they only lasted a minute or two.

February and March

Fairy Girl

Laynie stopped napping after her surgery in January.  Sad, but true.  If she does happen to go down for a nap these days, then she's up till 11:30pm.  It's a two-edged sword.

A few days before Valentine's Day, we went to Mrs. Cavanaugh's chocolates for a tour.
The kids were all smiles.

We also visited the Treehouse Museum

Once the weather started getting nice, we went to Bountiful Lake to feed the ducks.

The kids were chasing each other around with a reed.

Until this Mr. got all tuckered out.

We also took advantage of Hogle Zoo's free day.

At the beginning of March, the Bountiful Library hosted Rosemary Wells - one of my favorite children's lit authors/illustrators.

We also went to Discovery Gateway's free day.
This was inside a Photo Booth, but I just used my cell's camera instead of paying the $5.00 to have them print you a strip.

It was Dr. Seuss Day.

Even the Cat in the Hat made an appearance.

Laynie LOVES the water table area.
