Thanksgiving 2012

 This year we had Thanksgiving at the cabin.

 Danny started the fire.

Mother prepared the meal.

Gavin drooled.

 The pie was eaten - even though a dog stepped on it.

 (Because if you didn't eat it, Matt would stare you down.)

In all, it was a nice day in the mountains with the fam.

 Even our Canadian visitor gave it 2 thumbs up!

I Can't Stop Laughing About This:

The other night, Eagle Mountain had a city-wide power outage between the hours of 2 and 4 am.  At precisely 2:10 am, Gavin woke up crying.  I couldn't believe how dark it was in the room and said, "Matt, why is it so dark?"
"Oh, it's that scheduled power outage," he replied.
"Oh, yeah," I said.  "Would you mind getting your cell phone and turning on the flashlight app?"
Matt was feeling around on his bedside stand and said, "Yeah...hold on.  I'm trying to turn on the lamp."

I couldn't go back to sleep after feeding Gavin because I kept getting the giggles over this!

7 Months

 Gavin's favorite thing to do right now - Stand.  He will straighten his body if I try to sit him down somewhere, and he insists I put him next to something he can stand against.  I have to be right next to him b/c he's not all the way steady on his feet yet.  So... let the cleaning wait, right?  :)

For some reason, I thought I'd have a baby for a lot longer than I actually did.  He's just growing up too darn fast!  Love you, little G-Man!

Boo-Day 2012

About 5 years ago, two of my roommates (A shout-out to Cyleste if you're reading this!) introduced me to Boo-Day.  It was so much fun that for the last 4 years, I've hosted such a party.

This year, we were daring and decided to have it at our clubhouse which meant we could invite a lot more people.

We ate a freakish meal (the Devil said a prayer to bless it) then played some fun games with some incredible door prizes.
