Newsies Jr

This was Laynie's 2nd year doing a summer play.  I'm so glad our city offers this to the children.  It has been a wonderful experience for Laynie both years.  She is already looking forward to next year's play!

They performed at a Monday Funday and it was so fun to see her shine.

This year, the cast put on 2 shows - one at 3pm and another at 7pm.  Both with a full house!  I helped out backstage with costumes during the 7 pm show.

The kids were fed dinner between showings and I stayed to help clean up after it.

 

Strawberry Days Car Show

Chris and Ann invited us to Strawberry Days' car show then took us out to eat at Chubby's.  I really enjoy these Quad Dates of ours!

Splash Days 2024

The only fun thing we did for Splash Days this year was attend the parade outside our neighborhood.  Gavin and Dad were at a swim meet and made it back for the last 20 minutes of the parade.
