It's the end of September. The days are shorter; nights, longer. The leaves are changing color. The air is cold. We've booted up our heater. It's been raining in the valleys and snowing in the mountains. And I'm missing SUMMER! I can make it through the next 6 months. Or can I?!?
We started babysitting cousin Amelia 1 day a week on Tuesdays. Matt's sister, Heather, asked if I could do it full time, but 1 day a week is my breaking point limit. Amelia is a great little girl, and she's been fun to have around - one day a week.
We went to a park and Laynie fell asleep in the swing. It was such an anomoly that I had to take a picture.
We went to Corn Bellys for Matt's work party. The kids loved it and I was surprised at how much was different from when we went last year.
Laynie loved the ice cream shoppe. She was so engaged in play that she wouldn't even look up for a picture.
Then on September 20th, Gavin lost his second tooth while sitting at the kiva at school. He was chewing on his shirt collar and the tooth got snagged and popped right out onto the floor. He had to go to the bathroom with another teacher and the office gave him a tiny treasure chest to keep his tooth in until the Tooth Fairy exchanged it for $1 that night.
