Valentine's Day 2017

In the morning, Matt left on the table some chocolates for the kids and flowers for his girls.  The heart pictures are Gavin's valentines to mom and dad.

When Matt came home from work, we gave him a valentine that he had to scratch and reveal the evening's events.

First, it was revealed that we should have a "romantic" dinner.  Second, Gavin scratched the heart to find dancing on the agenda.  Third, we were destined for ice cream at Cold Stone.

My friend, Julie, asked if I'd illustrate a book that she'd been wanting to put into print for over a few years.  So I researched the process, stayed up way past my bedtime every night in November, and with Techie Matt at my side, we pulled this together:

There are 20 pages total, and you are one of the lucky few to view the first 4 - seeing as how it's already gone out of print.  ;)

We all felt it was a great first attempt, and Julie wants to do another in the future.
