Trippin' to G-town!

The kids and I ventured to Sanpete County.  We went to the fish hatchery in Fountain Green, then to Brian's dental office to take pictures for the website Matt is putting together.  We went to Tanner's baseball game, then met up with Uncle Lloyd at...

... The Mormon Miracle Pageant.  This was the last year the pageant is to be performed.  I really wanted to go one last time and have my children experience it as well.  The spirit touched my heart as I watched it, and fond memories came flooding back of times I went with family and friends to see the Pageant.  It was a Sanpete County tradition - and one that will definitely be missed.

On Friday night, we all went to the cabin for a nice meal Mom prepared.  We played a little ping pong, and enjoyed one another's company.

On Saturday, the kids and I traveled with Grandma to go to Richfield.  We DI shopped and got Ideal Dairy ice cream topped slushes - my favorite!!

Splash Days 2019

This was our 2nd time attending Splash Days here in Saratoga.  Last year, I had a surgery during the week long celebration so we only participated somewhat; and this year, the kids and I went to Gunnison to visit Uncle Lloyd during the latter part of the week, but we were able to still do a few fun things .
Chalk Walk

Foam Spray Fun

The carnival was definitely the highlight this year.  Just look at the joy on these kids' faces!

June 2019

June 1:  Laynie went to her friend,Lydia's birthday party.  It was a water party.  She was sooooo excited to go!  And even more excited to pick to a present for Lydia.

Jun 1:  Matt and I were able to go to his uncle Aaron's wedding.  He married a lovely lady named Jandy Jeppson.

June 1:  We went to a circus! Justin and Joni got free tickets through their work and invited us to go with them.  We got to watch it from a luxury suite complete with all you can eat nacho bar, popcorn and m&ms!

June 4:  Matt refinished the deck!  He took a couple days off work to do it.  Once he sanded it and screwed in a few screw for reinforcement, I helped him stain it.  HOPEFULLY it will last at least 5 years and be splinter free for that long.

June 6:  We went for a walk and explored Cedar Pass area in Eagle Mountain - close to where Grandma/pa Anderson are building their home.

June 7 - Started "Mom Bucks" where the kids earn money for doing chores and school work.  Gavin found a really funny series of books called The Bad Guys that he's read and now we're reading as a family.

June 9 - Matt climbed Neptune Park's rope tower and Laynie just looked awfully cute!

June 13 - Gavin started selling his chickens' eggs for $2 a dozen to our neighbors.  He's saving the money for his mission.
