Baby Animals at Cross E Ranch

For a Pre-K field trip, we took the kids to Cross E Ranch.  They had baby animals and other fun things to entertain us.
Laynie LOVES animals and wasn't scared of them at all.

Kids and more kids!

Piggies!

Baby chicks - while we were there, we go to see one hatch in the incubator.

Now that's "some pig!"

A little train ride.

Old farm machinery

Laynie wasn't too sure about this although she begged to get up like big brother.

My little flower!

Move over, Farmer Gavin comin' through!

He's One In a Minion!

It was the BIG 0-4 for this boy!  Gavin woke up on his birthday to find a (2nd hand) bike

and various Minion accessories!

 I made some Minion cupcakes,

decorated a bit,

and made a dinner for Grandma/pa Anderson.

Laynie loved the cake!

And I think everyone enjoyed the meal:  Gavin's favorite - PIZZA!

We sang happy birthday to both Gavin and Grandpa (his birthday is tomorrow).

Grandma/pa Anderson gave Gavin "Minion Trouble," the game.

The next day, we had a little Minion party.  The kids made Minion bags then we played Minion Bingo and Minion Match.

The piƱata was a "hit" - pun intended,

and we watched a few little Minion clips on the TV.

Cake, ice cream and lemonade for all!

Can't forget Miss Laynie!

After the party was over, Gavin put Minion stickers all over himself and watched Despicable Me.

I love this little big boy of mine so much!  I'm not sure I like this growing up thing, but I guess I need to embrace it because it's bound to happen!!
