Be Mine!

Valentines 2020 was a day of sickness for me, but I still went to Gavin's class and ran the craft station for his party.
Here he is with all his V-day loot!

Laynie blushing next to her giant chocolate kiss from daddy.

Gavin sending a valentine my way via remote control as to not contract the terrible sickness! LOL

Then the kids and Matt had a dance party while I watched on the couch.

Happy day of LOVE!!

Double Date Night!

Laynie's dance institute hosted a father/daughter princess ball.  Laynie dressed as Cinderella and had the time of her life.  She danced with Daddy (they taught everyone the cha cha),

Took special pictures,

and even got to put on some sparkly eye shadow.  Laynie was in heaven!

Meanwhile... Gavin and I went to Blaze Pizza.  He had worked really hard to memorize a story for his class' storytelling competition (Abiyoyo) and it was our way to celebrate!  He was chosen out of 5 kids that prepared a story to go on to the next level.

Community Field Trip!

On January 30th, our little preschool class went on a field trip around our community.  We first stopped at the library.

The kids got a tour of the library, were read to, and helped put back books on the shelves - learning the alphabetical way they do it.

We then went across the street to UCCU and got a tour.  The kids were even able to talk on the phones in the drive through area.

Lastly, we went to a cookie shop, Twisted Sugar.  The kids ate a cookie then got a tour of the bakery to see where they make the cookies and drinks.

It was a fun field trip, and I really love this fun group of kids!

Gung Hay Fat Choy! (Happy New Year in Cantonese) 2020

It was the year of the rat.  We decided to eat at Panda Express (only they had 0 gluten free options so I had to grab a salad at Zupas instead) then go to the University Mall in Orem for a little celebration.  We didn't stay long, but we DID see Mulan.  We came home and watched the movie Mulan to end the evening.
