It happened AGAIN!!

A wee leprechaun messed up my kindergarten classroom! Oh to have seen my students' faces and heard their funny remarks!
A happy, belated St. Patty's Day to ye all!

St. Patrick's Day is one of my favorite holidays. (Due mostly to the connections I have with me Eire.) This time of year, I can't help but think of my friends from the mission, the time I spent there, and the feelings I had and lessons I learned while serving my Heavenly Father and His Irish children.
Erin Go Braugh!

Matt and I hosted an Irish dinner for some friends. We ate baked potato soup, Irish soda bread, crisps, and a "green" Jell-O salad. (This was not a traditional Irish meal. Green Jell-O salad is definitely a Utah thing, but it's "green" nonetheless!) Games followed our festive feast. I so wish I would have taken pics! Drats! I guess there's always next year!

Dirt. Smoke. Dust. I don't know what happened...

This past weekend, Matt and I traveled to sunny St. George. We stayed at Danny's and Carl's place and attended the Nascar race in Las Vegas. To help celebrate the occasion, Matt designed 4 really cool Nascar images on his computer. We ironed them on to some shirts and...
Botta-Bing!
We looked GOOD!

Here's a picture of the grand stand. We were on the front row - prime location for bits of dust and rubber to get stuck to our skin.

Matt and Me - Nascar fans in the making.

The cars raced 200 laps, and the race lasted a little over 2 hours.

Carl's shirt said: Nascar - Fan fer Life.
How do you like Carl's beard? His mug shot could definitely end up on our next line of t-shirts, no?

We also met up with Matt's parents and brother for dinner (who were in St. George for business) and then with cousin Shirece for a game night.
It was a great weekend!
